How to comment on your Draft Education, Health and Care Plan

Step 1: Sign In

Go to the Sign In page and enter your email address or username, click Next and then enter your unique password and click 'Sign In'

Step 2: Finding your Draft Education, Health and Care Plan 


Now that you are logged in, you will be taken to your Account Home page. 

Scroll down to the Other Information Section. Select the Draft Education, Health and Care Plan Comments and Thoughts button



You will then be taken onto the Draft Education, Health and Care Plan Comments and Thoughts page
.
On this page, find the Child Document History List’ and select the row titled Draft EHC Plan. It will highlight blue once selected.




Directly under the document list, you will see a section called Document UploadUnder this section, click download
To the right of the screen a pop-up window called Downloads will appear with “What do you want to do with DraftEHCPlan’. Click Open. This may look different depending on what browser you are using.


A PDF Draft Education, Health and Care Plan document will appear in new tab. You can then read the plan.

Step 3: Adding your comments and thoughts to the Draft Education, Health and Care Plan

You will need to switch tabs and go back to the Parent Portal tab on your browser. 



To add your comments, scroll down to the Parent /Carer/ Young Person Comments and Thoughts section and comment on the form within the relevant boxes.  

Step 4 : Submitting your comments and thoughts on the Draft Education, Health and Care Plan

Now that you have completed your feedback, select the Save button found under the Actions to the right of the page.

The account will lock after 20 minutes of inactivity, so you will need to sign in again. Please make sure you save your work regularly.
