How to use the Parent and Young Person's Portal (Education, Health and Care Plans)

By creating an account on Ealing's Parent and Young Person's portal, you can be given access to view and contribute to your Education, Health and Care Needs Assessment as it progresses. 

For guidance for each of the steps see below. 

What will I be able to access on the Parent and Young Person's Portal? 

1. View your ERSA (Ealing Request for Statutory Assessment) - Once you have an account, Ealing will complete security checks and provide you with access to then view your Ealing Request for Statutory Assessment document on the portal.

2. Contribute to your Parent/Carer and Child/ Young Person views-   If a decision is made to proceed with the assessment, you will then be asked to contribute to your parent/carer and child young person views, also known as the Appendix A. You should only do this if you have been notified to do so by your Education, Health and Care Co-Ordinator.

3. Share your comments and thoughts on the Draft Education, Health and Care Plan If a decision is made to issue your child / young person with an Education, Health and Care Plan you will be notified to view your Draft Education Health and Care Plan, and provide feedback. You can do this online via the portals form within 15 days of the draft being issued. You will also be able to view all of the professional advice submitted as part of the EHC needs assessment.

4. View your Final Plan- If a plan has been agreed, you will be able to view the plan as well as any other supporting documents.
